+TECtonic → the underlying forces or systems that shape and move that creation (see also: construction)

“There were many challenges to be figured out, both from a design and building perspective. The Tectonic crew solved every obstacle and we truly couldn’t be more happy with the final result.”

- Tricia Stahr, Ridge Road House

Sometimes the most meaningful journeys begin with a single question: What if there was a better way?

So often, the process of remodeling or building a home is characterized as a nightmare. The conventional wisdom is, “It always takes twice as long as they tell you it will and costs you three times as much.”

This kept us up at night. We knew we could create a better way. We wanted to build homes that were both beautiful and environmentally responsible, but more than that, we wanted to transform the way people think about renovating their homes.

We wanted the process to be treated as the transformational moment it is, and for the people we work with to feel like our friends. We see ourselves as craftspeople and process geeks, and we combine the art of design with the attention to detail and expertise to make your vision a reality—all under one roof, all in-house, unified.

Why Tectonic?

01 - Handshake-to-homebuild Process

Our in-house team of architects, designers, and builders works together from day one, eliminating miscommunication, delays, and inefficiencies common with separate teams. Our process is meticulously crafted and maintained so that no detail is missed, no nuance skipped in favor of “just get it done”—we just do it right the first time.

The result is a premium, never-lift-a-finger experience for you.

02 - Excellence-driven People

Everyone at Tectonic is at the top of their field, and we’re driven to be the best at what we do. We take immense pride in our work–the attention to detail, thoughtful decisions and crystal-clear communication–so you’re thrilled with the results.

03 - Transparent Communication

Our goal isn’t just to get your business at any cost. When your project is done, we want our relationship with you to continue, and that means leading with integrity.

We respect you enough to have the hard conversations–the ones other builders avoid, like realistic timelines and honest pricing.

We keep you in the loop with BuilderTrend, a cutting-edge app that lets you see everything from bills to timelines to daily progress pics.

And our fixed-price contracts provide transparency and security. Unlike other design and build firms, you’ll never be blindsided by how much your home remodel or build cost when all is said and done.

Work with Us

We’re exacting, process-driven, absolute nerds about not just quality craftsmanship but the details that delight clients. The daily pictures of progress. The care we take in protecting people’s property. We hire people who like to go to bed every night thinking, “I’m proud of the work I did today,” and we do it with cutting-edge processes and technology.
